As CEO of DJG Marketing, Marc oversees the operations of all DJG Marketing companies, which include WRSS, DJG Marketing Services, ProCirc, ProCirc Retail Solutions Group and ProCirc B2B.
Founded in 1993, DJG Marketing has expanded into a suite of companies, each offering innovative outsourced solutions to publishers of all sizes. DJG Marketing is the media industry's leading outsourcing firm for Audience Development, Research and Marketing Services, Ad Sales Development, Consumer Marketing and Public Place Distribution. Each DJG Marketing company is staffed with a unique blend of senior-level media executives who offer an individual core area of expertise that distinguishes them in the media and publishing industries as leaders.
Marc first joined the company in 1998 and was appointed Chief Operating Officer of DJG Marketing in 2001. In 2003 he was also named the president of WRSS (Waiting Room Subscription Services, the leading distributor of magazines to public place locations).
Founded in 1988 and acquired by DJG Marketing in 2003, WRSS created the public place source and continues to be the premium provider of public place distribution. WRSS strategically targets and places magazines in public place locations in order to increase readership, brand awareness and improve audience demographics. WRSS built and carefully maintains the highest quality, proprietary database of public place locations and tailors every plan to meet the specific needs of each publisher.
Founded in 1993, ProCirc is the only stand-alone, full-service circulation outsourcing company in the market today offering strategic, promotional, analytical, and operational support to publishers of all sizes. ProCirc currently manages over 175 titles (31 publishers) and over 27 million in circulation.
In 2004, Marc was instrumental in the creation of ProCirc Retail Solutions Group, the retail arm of ProCirc. In 2011, ProCirc expanded further with the creation of ProCirc B2B in 2011.
DJG Marketing Services, the marketing and research company under the DJG Marketing umbrella, provides outsourced research and marketing support to media companies, including, Day-to-Day media research support for ad sales teams, Audience Development, Development of Audience Prototypes, Senior Research Advisory for strategic issues and Ad Sales Development to grow business.s
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Marc began his career at Inflight Newspapers Inc., a magazine subscription agent with core focus on distributing custom bound publications to airlines, clubs, cruise lines and rail carriers. In fourteen years with the firm, he rose to Vice President of Marketing.
