The FMA congratulates our 2009 college scholarship award recipients. We were delighted to receive many very impressive applications. The FMA commends every one of the students who applied. You put our judging committee to the test!

Our scholarship award winners are as follows:
Glen Giles Award Winner - $1500
Bryant Blay
Blay’s comment: "I consider myself lucky to have received the Fulfillment Management Association's Glen Giles Scholarship. Receiving the scholarship will allows me to continue my college career at AIB College of Business in Des Moines, Iowa. I will continue to work toward my goal of becoming a CPA and receiving the Fulfillment Management Association's Glen Giles Scholarship will help me reach that goal."
Laura Smith Award Winner - $1500
Arielle Smith
Smith’s comment: "Winning this scholarship helps me keep my eyes on the prize. It also makes me appreciate the help and support that I'm getting from people who I don't know. Thank you for supporting me in my efforts to earn a college degree."
FMA Award Winner - $500
Allison Nielson
Nielson’s comment: "I thank the Fulfillment Management Association scholarship committee for choosing me for the $500.00 scholarship. When I received the phone call for this scholarship, I was still in school. It made my day just perfect, because earlier I had been talking to friends about how hard it will be to be selected for scholarships. I’m going to Iowa State University to study Elementary Education, having endorsements in Math and perhaps Special Education. I would like to use my endorsements to work in a middle school classroom. I feel grateful to be selected by the scholarship committee. I work hard at everything I do and strive to do my best. My musical performances have given me stage confidence that will help me when I’m in front of a classroom of students. It’s a real honor to have this scholarship and I will use the money for part of my tuition. Thanks again."

Ivanna Hurtado
Hurtado’s comment: "I am writing this email to say how thankful I am to you guys for awarding me this scholarship. I just would like to say that I will use this scholarship for to the fullest and to my benefit to graduate from college and become someone successful in life. I felt so happy and grateful to when I received the news, and I just do not know how to thank you and the organization for this award. Thank You Very Much."
